th,
“The Case for Jesus” using the Scripture study on the Formed platform and Dr. Brian Pitre’s book of the same name. Can we trust the Gospels? Do we really know who wrote them? Do the Gospels communicate truth – or fabricated fables? Who is Jesus? Who did Jesus claim to be? Join Dr. Brant Pitre as he draws evidence from both early Christian and non-Christian writings attesting to the authenticity, authorship, and dating of the Gospels, and as he gives an in-depth look at the Gospel accounts of Jesus’s Crucifixion, Resurrection, and the proclamation of Christ’s divinity. Dr. Pitre’s powerful presentation will strengthen your faith so that you can not only stand firm and profess that Jesus truly is “the Christ, the Son of the living God,” but also confidently respond to any skeptics you encounter. Please contact Margaret Harder to join the study

DECEMBER 16-24 Donate & Dedicate a Poinsettia Our lovely tradition of incorporating parishioner-donated poinsettias always helps to create an especially beautiful and meaningful environment in which to celebrate Our Lord’s birth. So we are again inviting all parishioners to join in adorning our worship space for Christmas with your personally donated and possibly dedicated poinsettias. If you’d like to make a dedication, labels will be available for your use at the donation site. Or if you prefer, labels may be created at home before bringing your plant to the church. Please just be sure to confine it to a size that will fit on the pot cover. In order to maintain a somewhat coordinated look in the church, we ask that the poinsettias be of the traditional red color and a 6” pot size, which are widely available at grocery stores and the like. We will begin accepting poinsettia donations on Saturday, December 16 from 9 am to 5 pm by asking that they be brought the tables that will be set up on the hall stage. They may continue to be brought throughout the following week and ending on December 24 no later than 1 pm. We thank you so very much in advance for your continuing generosity and wish you a very blessed Christmas. Any questions, please contact Terry Groel at (805) 495-7419.
