Music Ministry
As we gather to celebrate our call as pastoral musicians & ministers of sung worship, bless us, that we may be a blessing to others. May your song linger in us that we may bring unity, joy, & faithfulness to your people, to our places of worship, & to our schools & homes.
Adult Choir
St. Jude’s Adult Choir invites anyone interested to join us as we begin our new season. Rehearsals are Thursdays at 7:30 pm in the Music Ministry Office. We sing a wide range of Liturgical Music. We have a particular need for male voices! If you are interested in joining the choir, please contact Vincent Adams (818)889-2373 or Michael Hemenway.
- Who are we? St. Jude’s Adult choir is represented by moms and dads, husbands and wives, grandparents and single people. We have jobs and families to raise. But, we have one thing in common…... we love to sing and make music.
- Our Goal is to enhance the celebration of the Liturgy by leading the assembly in sung prayer. As music ministers we strive to bring unity and joy to the faithful of St. Jude’s Catholic Community.
- Rehearsal & Liturgy Schedule-Being a part of Music Ministry is a commitment and requires dedication and dependability. Each choir member is part of a team.
- #1 Reason to join the choir… Guaranteed seating at Christmas and Easter!
The Adult Choir rehearsals are on Thursday evenings from 7:30 p.m. until 9:15 p.m. The Adult Choir sings the first three Sundays of the month unless otherwise stated by the director, with a warm-up 45 minutes prior to the assigned liturgy.
Music is an extremely important part of the liturgy at St Jude’s. To become a member of the Adult choir, one must be at least 16 years of age and easily carry a tune. While musical training and experience are helpful, it is not necessary. The desire to sing is paramount! For more information please email Vincent Adams or call (818)889-2373

Children’s Choir
Rehearsals are held on Thursday’s from 5:00 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. Each child will be auditioned to determine their singing abilities. We are accepting children from grades 3rd - 7th. We are looking for kids who love music, can take direction and stay focused for the entire rehearsal. This choir will sing once a month at the 10:00 a.m. Mass and Christmas Eve at 4:00 p.m. It is important that they are able to conduct themselves appropriately during the Sunday Liturgy. For more information, please contact Vincent Adams (818)889-2373 or Michael Hemenway.
