Confirmation Registration Confirmation at St. Jude celebrates the Holy Spirit working in the hearts of young people. The Confirmation process is a time of discernment for our teens to explore, challenge, grow and eventually take ownership of the Catholic Faith. The process involves not only the teens, but the whole family and entire parish community. Confirmation preparation at St. Jude is a two year process that may be started in the 9 -11 grade. There are two options available this year for young people to access the sacrament in a way that works best for them.
- Option 1: In Person Confirmation meets on 2 Sunday nights a month from 6:30-8:00pm.
- Option 2: At Home Independent Faith Formation with Parents and Sponsor
For more information, please take a look at our Confirmation webpage, which includes additional information and how to register. From Thursday, the Global Catholic Climate Movement will be known as the Laudato sí Movement. Climate and integral ecology are at the heart of the Movement, which takes its cue from Pope Francis’ landmark encyclical on care for our common home. Speaking with Vatican News, the executive director of LSM, Tomás Insua, speaks about a “synodal journey” aimed at a deeper ecological conversion. As the Movement continues to renew itself, Pope Francis offers a word of thanks for its work.
