Bible Studies

Purpose: To promote an appreciation of reading the Bible and understanding how Bible readings can be applied to our daily life.  The Bible has been, and is, a powerful influence in the lives of countless people.  Every Bible story is a metaphor for the many experiences of God we have all had and will have in our lives.

Activities:  There are three Bible Study offerings:  Bible Study 101…A short 5-week Introduction to the Bible; Bible Study…A focused study on a specific old or new testament book, and Sunday to Sunday Bible Study…Preparations to more fully understand the following Sunday’s scripture readings.
Where: Parish Hall

When:  Meetings are once a week in the Parish Hall.  Depending on the course, classes are held on Tuesday and Thursday mornings, Thursday evenings throughout the year.

Time commitment:  Classes are 1 to 2 hours weekly.
