Baptismal Preparation

Purpose:  To prepare parents and Godparents for the beautiful Sacrament of Baptism by explaining its meaning, symbolism, and commitment.
Activities:  Instruction from passages in sacred Scripture; explanation of the meaning, purpose, and richness of Baptism; viewing videos on the Sacrament itself; question and answer period.
Where:  In the home of each family.
When:  In six different homes over a period of two months throughout the entire year.  Each family has an evening session every other month.
Time commitment:  About 1½ hours for each evening session
