Faith Formation

St. Jude’s Faith Formation is dedicated to supporting the faith journey of all our parishioners.  We are committed to sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ in the Catholic tradition through knowledge of the faith, Sacramental Preparation,  liturgical celebrations, prayer, involvement in parish life and outreach.  We provide formal education for youth until they are confirmed as well as a range of opportunities for adults in order to support the lifelong process of growing closer to God.

Children and Youth

We offer two options for our religious education program.  To view these options, please click on “faith formation catechesis” in the column to the left.

Sacramental Preparation: Eucharist and Reconciliation preparation begins in first grade. If your child is older, please contact our office and we will work with you!

Junior High Ministry (7 and 8): League of Extraordinary Catholics meets twice monthly for a youth ministry experience. Prayer, faith formation, games and pizza!

Children's Liturgy of the Word: During the 10 a.m. Mass, children in grades K-5 are dismissed to listen to the readings and discuss them with a leader. The children return during the Liturgy of the Eucharist.

Confirmation: Confirmation is a Catholic sacrament of mature Christian commitment and a deepening of baptismal gifts.
