Coats and Jeans for the Cause
Collection Day: October 21-22, 2017
Each October, gently used outerwear and jeans are collected and distributed to agencies for homeless clients.
Share the Warmth by donating gently used and clean coats, jackets, sweaters and sweatshirts. These outerwear items are very useful for those spending cold winter nights outdoors. Last year more than 1,000 items were donated to nine different shelters and service agencies serving the homeless.
When and where? Collection Weekend occurs in the fall and items are dropped off at the church doors and the Parish Hall.
How can I Help? Volunteers are needed to move collected items from the church doors during each mass to the Parish Hall for sorting, boxing and delivery.
*Community Service Hours are available
